One thing I plan to do starting when I get a job (income) is to save at least 10% of everything I earn, no matter what, even if I don't have enough to pay my bills (that won't really be a concern until my parents stop loaning me money in 2010). When I learn more about stocks and bonds and mutual funds and things like that, I'll start investing my savings and hopefully begin to grow some wealth that will be there down the road.
Tomorrow morning (Monday, April 7) I'm going to call and set up an appointment with Jewish Vocational Services to get help finding and applying for jobs, and also for career counseling from a more long term point of view. I'm not going to spend any money on acting related expenses until I have a job.
I just set up and launched my online print store.
